Each sheet has 225 individual tiles arranged in a 15 tile by 15 tile grid and covers an area of approximately 32.7cm by 32.7cm. The tiles are held together on a thin plastic mesh grid that is easy to cut with scissors. Each tile is 2cm x 2cm square and 4mm thick.

Did you know that when mosaic pieces (tesserae) are used to create an outline of a mosaic shape or pattern, like a halo or a piece of string laid around the shape or pattern, this is called Opus Vermiculatum. Vermis is the latin word for worm.
